WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):

Assist with determining customer requirements and translating them into organizational plans. Typically develop information on budget status, workforce level, equipment availability, and other business unit capabilities. May perform certain operational activities on behalf of business unit. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations.
The American Red Cross is currently seeking a remote Business Planning Analyst. Availability to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours is preferred.
WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities): 
Provide program planning support through data analyses. Work in compliance with established policies and procedures. Conduct research, business plan analyses and feasibility studies.  Identify trends and develop recommendations for issues of basic complexity.
    May provide support for projects and operations including, but not limited to, analysis, reporting, market research, budget forecasting and scheduling.
    May conduct risk, resource, cost-benefit, variance, impact and/or other analyses of basic complexity. May contribute to the development of metrics for performance of business unit, organization, initiatives, program/project, and/or business operations. May monitor and report on performance.
    May support management or senior analysts in the development of modeling and reporting tools or other systems for monitoring and analyzing performance or data integrity.
    May coordinate certain operational support activities on behalf of business unit such as business development, human resources, administration, budget management, business information systems, logistics and contracts.
Program Analysis:
Integrates performance data from multiple sources, including Salesforce, to enable business units to quickly and accurately assess programs and make immediate data-driven adjustments in strategies and tactics.
    Provides analysis of current and potiential strategies leveraged by business units.
    Analyze data quality, trends, and performance metrics by designing reports and dashboards to extract insights, identify anomalies, and support data-driven decision-making.
    Leverage data mining and analytical techniques to identify patterns, correlations, and key business events that inform process improvements, operational efficiencies, and strategic initiatives.
Operational Reporting:
Acts as a point of contact to various Training Services business units for standardized reports demonstrating results, analyses, and forecasts.
    Tracks key metrics and measurements for program performance. Runs, maintains, analyzes, documents and communicates key daily, weekly and monthly performance metrics.
    Analyzes data to identify trends week over week and year-over-year in order to make recommendations to business units.
    Collaborates with a cross-functional team to scout new projects and report requests to ensure consistent reporting that meets business needs and focus on efficiency.
    Provides business recommendations through ad- hoc data retrieval and analysis from data management systems. Identifies and addresses reporting issues.
    Creates presentations that are succinct, professional and well-researched. Documents all analyses assumptions, procedures, results and proposes solutions in a manner appropriate for both executive and management review.
PAY INFORMATION: 
The salary range for this position is $51,696-$68,900.
