Location: Remote (occasional onsite support during Go-Live events - Troy, MI )
Duration: 32-Week Contract-to-Hire

Position Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior IT Interface Analyst to lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of complex healthcare integrations within a large Epic environment. This individual will serve as a technical consultant for interface architecture and integration solutions, working closely with application teams, operational stakeholders, clinicians, vendors, and leadership to ensure seamless data exchange across healthcare systems.
This is a highly technical, hands-on role focused on building, enhancing, troubleshooting, and optimizing interfaces utilizing Epic Bridges and Cloverleaf. The ideal candidate will have extensive healthcare integration experience, strong Epic expertise, and the ability to lead medium-to-complex implementation and support initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Interface Design & Development
  • Lead the configuration and implementation of new interfaces and enhancements to existing Epic and ancillary system integrations.
  • Design, build, test, and support interfaces utilizing Epic Bridges and Cloverleaf.
  • Develop integration solutions that support business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for interface architecture and integration best practices.
  • Participate in all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Production Support & Troubleshooting
  • Monitor and maintain a complex healthcare interface environment.
  • Troubleshoot interface issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Resolve production incidents and support ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Conduct testing activities related to new implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Epic, vendors, operations teams, and IT departments to diagnose and resolve integration issues.
Project Leadership
  • Lead workflow and dataflow discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinate integration activities across multiple IT teams and departments.
  • Manage requirements changes and communicate impacts to senior business sponsors.
  • Provide input into project planning, resource estimates, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Support medium-to-complex Epic integration initiatives and critical system enhancements.
Collaboration & Mentorship
  • Work closely with clinicians, operational teams, application analysts, vendors, and leadership to facilitate solutions.
  • Provide occasional training for Epic Bridges end-user tools.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior Interface Analysts.
  • May supervise the work of 1-2 Interface Analysts, including coaching and technical leadership.
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field
OR
  • Five (5) additional years of related healthcare application development, maintenance, or systems integration experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant IT experience in systems integration, interface development, or healthcare applications.
  • Preferred 5+ years of experience within a healthcare environment.
  • Experience supporting enterprise healthcare systems and integrations.
  • Experience participating in at least two major system implementations.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles including design, development, testing, debugging, and support.
  • Experience with SDLC methodologies.
Technical Skills
  • Epic Bridges Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
  • Cloverleaf Certification v20.1+ (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
  • Expertise with healthcare messaging standards including:
    • HL7
    • XML
    • ANSI X12
  • Strong interface troubleshooting and support experience.
  • Experience with healthcare integration architecture and interface engine administration.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
