Technical Lead, Data Engineering (remote) wanted by PPL Services Corporation based in Allentown, Pennsylvania.


Responsibilities

Job Duties:

Design and implement processes and layouts for complex, large-scale data sets used for modeling, data mining, and research purposes. Empower business partners to turn information into action by building tools, developing protocols, and defining metrics for forward-looking data collection and analysis. Apply quantitative methods to derive actionable insights and outcomes from data. Gather and process data from the Transmission, Distribution, Customer Service, and EU Service functions, and transform them into data products. Develop and modify functions, programs, routines, and stored procedures to export, transform, and load data. Remote work permitted from various unanticipated locations in the U.S. Requires up to 20% domestic travel.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, or closely related and 5 years post-baccalaureate progressive experience in the field, which includes 3 years in the job offered or as a Technical Lead. Must have 3 years’ experience using Azure Cloud Architecture, Azure Operations and Administration, Azure Security Center, Azure Key Vault, Azure Event Hub, Azure DevOps, Azure Databricks, Snowflake Architecture and Data Modeling.
