What this position entails

Reporting to the Manager, Client Project Management, the Client Project Manager is responsible for supporting all the strategic and day-to-day activities related to Irix. This pivotal role directly supports the product implementation process. As part of the Project Management team, this new hire will collaborate with all internal departments (sales, account management, product, pharmacy, operations, analytics, IT) and will also have direct interaction and communication with clients throughout the Irix product implementation process. 

 What you will be doing

  • Manage several concurrent projects of varying complexity
  • Independently lead client implementations and studies of Irix, taking on projects and tasks as needed
  • Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments to ensure all targets and requirements are met
  • Become a subject matter expert in our process and communicate effectively with clients on technical subjects
  • Gather required data from end-users to evaluate objectives, goals, and scope to create technical specifications
  • Maintain open communication with clients and internal teams
  • Proactively address customer issues, and “own” the resolution 
  • Develop detailed project plans and timelines
  • Coordinate resources 
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings and presentations, balancing multiple internal and external calendars 
  • Conduct product demonstrations 
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone and email 
  • Manage all internal and external project-related documentation with the utmost accuracy
  • Dedicate the time needed to answer client needs, including odd hours when necessary
  • Demonstrate commitment to being creative, innovative, flexible and adaptable, focusing on quality solutions, and continually improving

    What we need

    • Completed Bachelor’s degree in any field
    • 4 - 10 years of professional experience in Project Management
    • PMP certification
    • Proven track record of managing projects and success in building customer relationships
    • Familiarity with Excel: pivot tables, complex formulas, importing/exporting data from various sources, sorting/filtering, etc.
    • Generative AI experience to increase efficiency (e.g. Copilot, Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude)
    • Use generative AI or other technology to improve operations processes – complete work and simultaneously improve the processes and create or update documentation as needed
    • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

    The expected application deadline for this job is September 30, 2026. This position is open to remote work Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed and travel nationwide for meetings, conferences, and team events up to 20%.

    Compensation

    The overall salary range for this role is $59,200 - $131,905. For candidates residing in:

    • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia:
      • $68,080 - $109,020 if overall experience is less than 5 years; and
      • $82,455 - $131,905 for experience greater than 5 years.
    • All other states:
      • $59,200 - $94,800 if overall experience is less than 5 years; and
      • $71,700 - $114,700 for experience greater than 5 years.

    A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.
