Job Description:

  • This role is remote. We prefer that candidates live near one of our factories: St. Louis MO, Davenport IA, Crete, NE, etc.). Manager is based in Hereford, TX. Heavy preference on candidates in the Midwest.
  • This is a remote contract role will support a small transportation team of three.
  • The contractor will complete day to day transportation planning activities including scheduling, tendering, product issue resolution, and email communication, while working cross functionally with Operations Planning and Warehouse/Plant teams.
  • The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage competing requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • They should take ownership of issues, proactively problem solve, and follow items through to resolution.
  • Transportation or inventory experience is helpful but not required, SAP and Excel experience are a plus.
  • The role requires reliable availability during core business hours, with willingness to support occasional overtime and holiday rotation.

  • Transportation or inventory management experience not required, but a plus.

  • Excel skills helpful: Filters, sorting, basic formulas. Reviewing data for accuracy.
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems and tools.
