Role Overview

TAS is seeking a Senior Developer to support a high-visibility CRM and case-management modernization initiative for a Texas state agency. This role is responsible for executing technical configuration, extensions, integrations, and automations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service and the Microsoft Power Platform.
At TAS, we value current mastery of modern Microsoft technologies over tenure with legacy platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep, hands-on experience with contemporary Dynamics 365 and Power Platform capabilities and operates comfortably within a configuration-first, architecture-governed delivery model.
The Senior Developer works under the technical guidance of the Solution Architect, collaborates closely with Functional Consultants and Business Analysts, and contributes directly to building secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
This is a full-time, fully remote role, operating within an onshore delivery model.
Key Responsibilities

  • Execute technical configuration and development for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service
  • Build and maintain Power Platform components, including Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI artifacts
  • Implement extensions and integrations following Solution Architectdefined standards and patterns
  • Implement and maintain secure, API-based integrations with Indigov/GovDelivery and DIR telephony platforms
  • Develop and support case-management workflows, routing logic, SLAs, and automation rules
  • Develop technical logic and scripts for the transition of legacy data, ensuring the reconciliation of historical records dating back to 2002
  • Ensure all solutions are configuration-first, minimizing custom code and preserving platform upgradeability
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Use Azure DevOps (ADO) as the mandated system of record for development tasks, defects, and technical documentation
  • Collaborate with QA resources to resolve defects and support UAT readiness
  • Ensure all technical implementations comply with Texas Administrative Code (TAC) 213 and Section 508 accessibility standards
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities
Required Skills & Experience

  • U.S.-based candidate (onshore delivery requirement)
  • 69+ years total development experience
  • 4+ years hands-on with Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Power Platform
  • Experience with integrations, data migration, and secure public-sector systems
  • Proven experience serving as a Senior Developer on enterprise CRM or case-management implementations
  • Deep, hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service
  • Strong experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
  • Experience implementing integrations using APIs, data connectors, and Azure services
  • Strong understanding of security roles, data models, and environment management within Dynamics 365
  • Proficiency using Azure DevOps (ADO) for task tracking, defect management, and sprint execution
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments
  • Strong collaboration and technical communication skills
Preferred Experience

  • Experience delivering solutions in state, federal, or public-sector environments
  • Familiarity with compliance-driven development, including accessibility and auditability requirements
  • Experience supporting large, highly visible CRM modernization initiatives
Public-sector experience is strongly desired, but not required.
