Position Summary:

BenefitHub is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Merchandising Associate to support the creation, management, and optimization of merchant offers across our employee benefits platform. This role plays a key part in delivering compelling savings opportunities to our members by assisting with offer creation, content merchandising, newsletter execution, merchant communications, and special projects. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities, has strong written communication skills, and is passionate about creating an exceptional member experience.

Responsibilities:

Offer Creation & Content Management

  • Create, update, and maintain merchant offers across the BenefitHub platform.
  • Ensure offer content is accurate, compelling, and aligned with BenefitHub content standards.
  • Review and proofread offer details, promotional copy, and merchant information prior to publication.
  • Assist with categorization, merchandising, and placement of offers to maximize member engagement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to implement offer updates and promotional changes.

Newsletter & Promotional Support

  • Assist in the creation, scheduling, and testing of member newsletters and promotional campaigns.
  • Verify offer accuracy, links, images, and content prior to distribution.
  • Support campaign tracking and reporting efforts to measure performance and engagement.

Merchant Outreach & Relationship Support

  • Conduct outreach to merchants to obtain offer updates, promotional assets, and additional information.
  • Support the Merchant team in maintaining positive merchant relationships.
  • Assist with merchant onboarding activities and ongoing account maintenance.

Merchandising & Platform Optimization

  • Monitor offer quality and identify opportunities to improve content, presentation, and member experience.
  • Assist in merchandising seasonal, category-specific, and strategic promotions.
  • Help maintain consistency across merchant profiles, offers and promotional content.

Special Projects

  • Support cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects as assigned.
  • Assist with data collection, reporting, and process improvement efforts.
  • Participate in testing new platform features, workflows, and merchandising initiatives.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a relevant field
  • 1-3 years of experience in merchandising, e-commerce, digital content, partnerships or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.

Preferred

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) or e-commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with affiliate marketing, promotions, or employee benefits platforms.
  • Experience working with merchant or vendor relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and make recommendations.
