Job description

Ediscovery Specialist

Location: Houston, TX Client: Chevron Remote: No Rate: $38/hr Salary: 55K/Y

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the collection and processing of electronic documents and data using tools such as M365 Purview, Nuix Client, and/or Relativity.
  • Carefully monitor and track each step of the eDiscovery process for each matter.
  • Help plan, coordinate, execute, and deliver productions and project deliverables correctly and on time.
  • Provide support and training for Tier 1 document review attorneys service providers.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams on the acquisition of Client as needed.
  • Help manage projects and relationships with third party partners, by overseeing and delegating various tasks.
  • Identify and escalate issues and risks as appropriate.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in lieu of college degree.
  • 2-4 years of experience in litigation/litigation support, data discovery, litigation project management, and e-discovery processing and review technologies.
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery review and/or collection tools would be a plus.
  • Proficient in using Excel and other M365 applications.
  • Some knowledge of the EDRM, and the eDiscovery life cycle.
  • Understanding of basic legal terminology.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with legal and technical teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple projects with frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
