Job Summary and Responsibilities

This is a critical, on-the-ground role that will bridge the gap between the national brand strategy and local execution, ensuring every communication reflects our name and visual identity with clarity and impact. 

Essential Duties Include:

  • Lead and manage a dedicated brand implementation team composed of Program Implementation Managers and Program Coordinators, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance oversight.
  • Provide strategic and creative leadership across CommonSpirit to ensure the successful interpretation and implementation of CommonSpirit’s brand identity.
  • Serve as the primary creative quality steward, guiding the consistent application of visual identity, tone of voice, and brand experience across signage, collateral, digital, environmental, and other branded touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams, agency partners, and in-house designers to shape and review creative work for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with system brand standards.
  • Oversee the execution of brand transition initiatives including naming, visual updates, campaign rollouts, and patient-facing materials.
  • Partner closely with the System Brand team to ensure national strategies are effectively translated into localized creative solutions that maintain brand cohesion.
  • Provide input on templates, playbooks, and training resources to empower regional teams with the tools they need to deliver brand-aligned work and track and manage cross-functional workstreams, timelines, and deliverables; identify risks and lead issue resolution in partnership with internal and external teams.
  • Support internal campaign development and brand activation efforts to engage employees and stakeholders throughout the brand transition journey.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or realted field.
  • 10 years of experience in brand management, creative direction, or marketing leadership, preferably in healthcare, nonprofit, or complex multi-market organizations.
  • 7+ years of experience demonstrating experience in overseeing brand creative development and implementation across a wide range of channels.
  • Experience driving large-scale branding initiatives or transitions in a matrixed organization. 
  • Experience interpreting brand guidelines and successfully applying them to challenging or unique branded touchpoints.
