A Remote Book Reading job typically involves reading books aloud for various purposes, such as audiobooks, online storytelling sessions, or educational content. This role can include narrating fiction, non-fiction, or children's books for platforms like Audible, YouTube, or virtual classrooms. It may require strong reading skills, clear pronunciation, and sometimes voice acting abilities. Many positions are freelance or contract-based, allowing individuals to work from home with a flexible schedule. Equipment like a quality microphone, soundproofing, and editing software can enhance the recordings.
To thrive in a Remote Book Reading position, you need excellent spoken communication skills, clear diction, and strong reading comprehension, often complemented by experience in narration or voice work. Familiarity with audio recording software, remote collaboration platforms, and sometimes home recording equipment is typically required. Attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to engage listeners are standout soft skills in this role. These skills are important to deliver high-quality, engaging readings that meet client specifications and ensure a seamless remote workflow.
As a Remote Book Reader, your primary responsibility is to read and record assigned texts, ensuring clarity, accurate pronunciation, and suitable pacing to engage the intended audience. You may also be responsible for editing your recordings, submitting audio files by deadlines, and occasionally collaborating with editors or project managers to meet specific guidelines. Most projects require attention to detail to capture the author's tone and style, as well as consistent communication with the team to address feedback or revisions. Your day-to-day activities can vary depending on the project's scope, but organization and self-motivation are key to staying on track as a remote professional.

We're Changing the PropTech Industry
We're a profitable, growth-stage company building industry-leading martech and data products for the PropTech space. Our focus is on our category-leading AI and data SaaS products with triple-digit growth rates.
We're a fully remote team of 100+ spread across the U.S. from coast to coast. We operate on a strict no a**holes policy and are proud to have built a community of highly performant people that take our work seriously, but not ourselves. And, we're looking for exceptional people to help further accelerate our growth.
While we've raised $30MM+ to date from some of the world's best investors, we're profitable with a strong balance sheet and an indefinite runway. We pride ourselves on achieving rapid growth without having to incinerate capital.
About Our Products
ApartmentIQ is the all-in-one data platform powering smarter decisions across multifamily—covering 40M units with daily property and market intelligence used for surveys, research, and revenue management. We're trusted by 65% of the NMHC Top 50. Our sister company, MavenAI, delivers AI-powered marketing automation built by industry experts and integrated directly with property management systems, serving over 2M units.
The Role
As the Senior Enterprise Customer Success Manager for the ApartmentIQ product, you'll own our most strategic, highest-stakes, multi-threaded customer relationships — accounts where the complexity, visibility, and revenue at risk demand a Senior-level CSM who can operate as a partner to VP- and C-suite-level stakeholders. You'll drive adoption, own the renewal, and work to get ahead of churn before it starts — surfacing expansion opportunities along the way for the right Sales partner to take across the finish line, growing the account's value over time, not just protecting it.
This is a seat that spans altitude — you'll be as comfortable running point on a contract detail or troubleshooting a property-level data question as you are advising a VP on strategy. This is also a critical, highly visible seat within the CS org: you'll be a person other CSMs turn to when an account gets complicated, and one of the people leadership turns to when they need an unvarnished read on how our biggest customers are really doing.
