Client: CareFirst BCBS Interview Process: Moving forward for first round interviews, candidates will be expected to perform the following exercises.
  • Write a complex SQL query from information provided by CareFirst
  • Review code (Java or Python) from CF and walk through how they would identify and triage a code issue
  • Write step-by-step how you would automate a specific process. (example provided was "how would you automate setting up a job class?")
Role: Automation Tester Location: 100% Remote, would consider EST/CST candidates. Duration: 9-month contract with strong potential for extension Summary: CareFirst is looking for an Automation Tester with ETL Testing experience to support their migration efforts from DB2 to MongoDB. The project involves initially moving the databases, automating the process, and then performing the ETL pipelining.
  • 5+ years of experience in back-end automation testing.
  • Hands-on automation testing experience using Selenium
  • Hands-on experience in ETL testing in a healthcare environment
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Hands-on experience in automation testing in a healthcare environment
  • Strong SQL querying experience (Identifying resulting set, joining tables, etc.)
