Job description

Description
Overview
The Senior Manager of Pre-Production Operations owns the end-to-end pre-production process for licensed sports apparel, ensuring all artwork and licensing processes is produced, reviewed, and approved in compliance with brand, quality, and league licensing standards before it advances to manufacturing. This role is fundamentally operational-driving process discipline, workflow efficiency, and on-time delivery across a team of approximately 10 direct reports and a broader organization of 50+ individuals. Additionally, the candidate will manage key external relationships with licensors such as the National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB), National Basketball Association (NBA), National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and others.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable analyzing operational data, implementing processes and managing production workflows-understanding that artwork must be fully produced, licensed, and approved before a single garment can be manufactured. They are able to translate data and reporting into actionable operational plans, identify business risks before they materialize, and lead a large team with clarity and accountability. This role requires strong judgment, an ownership mentality, and the ability to move seamlessly between strategic planning and day-to-day execution. This role is also cross-functional in nature and the candidate needs to be comfortable collaborating with other departments and teams. #LI-Remote
