Role: ServiceNow ITOM Developer
Location: Remote(Can be anywhere in US)
Hire Type: Contract
Job Description:
We need someone who can handle development activities and support below ITOM modules. Customer's ServiceNow platform is heavily customized. KT will be provided. Developers will be responsible for closing user stories related to these unique capabilities.
  1. Platform Support: Ensuring Operational health and performance of the ServiceNow platform. Closing platform related user stories including those generated through Best Practice Engine.
  2. Security and Compliance: Ensuring all teams follow the Security protocols and risk remediation established for the ServiceNow platform. Closing Security Vulnerability user stories or other Security-related stories.
  3. Custom Applications and Enhancements: Building custom application to address specific business needs from our stakeholders. Contributing to specific custom builds, closing user stories related to these unique capabilities.
  4. Application Portfolio: Provides a catalog of Applications across customer's IT and parts of non-IT as well as custom workflows for InfoSec, ERIM, SOX, Data compliance, and other teams. Scope includes, Business Applications (BAs), Modules (BAMs), Instances, Endpoints, Components, Clusters, and all associated integrations.
  5. Service Portfolio: Provides a catalog of Services across customer's IT and parts of non-IT as well as custom workflows for InfoSec.
  6. Host Management: Provides users with the ability to register, modify & retire hosts and associate applications with hosts. Change management can issue scheduled outages against these hosts and applications.
  7. Discovery: Finds applications and devices on customer's network then updates CMDB with the info it finds. Create/manage discovery jobs, patterns, and enhancements for Discovery.
  8. Data Quality: Framework (dashboards, reports, audits, certifications, automations) to resolve issues/concerns related to data in ServiceNow platform across different modules like APM/SP/HM/DISC etc., and to ensure its complete/correct in the CMDB.
  9. Integrations: 400-500 active inbound/outbound integrations used to populate data into ServiceNow platform which is used by ITSM/ITOM and other teams
  10. HAM: Customer's custom-built Hardware Asset Management system which provides useful lifecycle data to infrastructure owners.
  11. DataMart: ServiceNow platform sends data to an Oracle-based DataMart for reporting and consumption purposes.
