Now Hiring: Electrical Apprentice

Locations: Flowood, MS & Jackson, MS
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $17-$23 per hour (Based on Experience)

We are seeking motivated and dependable Electrical Apprentices to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals who want to build a long-term career in the electrical trade through hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world experience on commercial and industrial projects.


Position Overview

As an Electrical Apprentice, you will assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair work while learning industry standards, safety practices, and technical skills. You will work closely with experienced professionals and gain valuable on-the-job training.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with installing conduit, wiring, fixtures, and electrical equipment

  • Pull wire, terminate devices, and support basic panel work under supervision

  • Safely use hand and power tools, including drills, benders, and meters

  • Help read and follow basic blueprints, schematics, and instructions

  • Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe at all times

  • Load, unload, and organize tools and materials

  • Support daily crew activities and jobsite setup

  • Communicate with foremen and journeymen and ask questions to learn

  • Participate in apprenticeship training and complete required coursework


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Enrollment in, or willingness to enroll in, an apprenticeship program preferred

  • Basic mechanical ability and interest in learning electrical systems

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (as required)

  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening, if applicable

  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various conditions

  • OSHA 10 preferred or willingness to obtain
