The National Project Manager (NPM) is responsible for driving and delivering growth through strategic pre-project planning, continuous oversight & timely closure of "Mega" and other strategic projects. Working alongside National Account Managers (NAMs), the NPM will serve as the conduit between the customer project teams, the regional commercial & operational teams & the SA support organization; assuring project success and customer satisfaction.
Goals & objectives will be achieved through; i) effective development & management of target projects, ii) extensive communication throughout the customer and Airgas organizations regarding resources, budgets, progress, etc. iii) proficiency in project, data & asset management, iiii) successful utilization of the holistic Air Liquide/ Airgas portfolio of value propositions, products & services. This is all done within the confines of a company's goals & vision.
  • Project Management Professional, effective in situations from the corporate office to the jobsite
  • Within the current customer base, thoroughly engage within the customer's network of project related influencers and decision-makers to maximize opportunities for success
  • Develop and manage independent relationships with targeted top tier customer project field personnel; Project Managers, Field Purchasing, Engineering, Supply Chain etc.
  • Work closely with NAMs and customers to gain early understanding of project scope to provide increased customer visibility and internal communication regarding required equipment, assets and inventory management
  • Manage early communication with regional commercial and operation teams ensuring alignment to the customer(s) and project(s)
  • Assist in developing new National Account prospects at project sites
  • Support regions and NAMs with project related asset and supply chain requirements in support of planning and potential CAPEX
  • Facilitate in developing more solutions based technical selling from the project level up
  • Manage ongoing "touchpoints" with all parties to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment and continuity across Airgas servicing teams.
  • Work closely with Central Services to assure accurate & timely jobsite set ups & closures
  • Management support of ALTEC Jobsite Skid program
  • Align Total Access with the customer project team and servicing region
  • Align Red D Arc with equipment opportunities
  • Align Supply Chain Solutions with Connex and/or Vending opportunities
  • Responsible for data collection and Power BI database management of "like projects" for future planning
  • Leverage Salesforce CRM Tool for customer, project and opportunity management

Are you a MATCH?
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 5-8 years of project management, construction and related experience
  • Experience managing projects through the full life cycle
  • Strong understanding of welding acumen, processes, procedures, and related supplies
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Practical understanding and ability to utilize Power BI, Google Sheets/Excel, etc

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
  • Sales experience
