Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Portfolio Growth Manager (Mobile Games) based in Netherlands.

This is a hands-on growth role focused on maximizing the performance and long-term value of a diverse portfolio of mobile games.
You will combine ad monetization, product marketing, store optimization, paid acquisition, and automation across multiple live titles.
The role offers significant autonomy, with ownership spanning strategy, execution, reporting, and continuous optimization.
A major part of your impact will come from using AI and automation to reduce manual work and help a lean growth function operate at scale.
You will collaborate closely with product, technical, marketing, and leadership teams across multiple studios and time zones.
This opportunity is ideal for a curious mobile gaming professional who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, and working across disciplines.
Success means keeping the portfolio healthy, efficient, predictable, and continuously improving through measurable growth initiatives.

Accountabilities
  • Own ad monetization operations across the broader mobile game portfolio, including reviewing waterfall and bidder configurations, maintaining mediation platforms, managing ad network onboarding and offboarding, and coordinating SDK maintenance with technical teams.
  • Lead product marketing and store presence for assigned back-catalogue titles, including Custom Store Listings, Custom Product Pages, seasonal campaigns, live-ops initiatives, metadata optimization, and ongoing App Store and Google Play improvements.
  • Maintain existing paid marketing campaigns across SDK networks, social platforms, and search, while running targeted, small-scale experiments focused on efficiency and measurable returns.
  • Build and maintain AI-powered automations for reporting, MMP data management, creative briefs, store listing workflows, and other repetitive growth activities.
  • Consolidate fragmented automations into scalable, shared workflows and continuously identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes.
  • Establish consistent reporting across multiple studios, standardizing performance data and narratives for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Proactively coordinate with product, technical, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to keep priorities aligned and resolve routine issues without unnecessary escalation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve portfolio performance, operational efficiency, and growth processes through structured experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
  • Establish ownership of key growth operations during the first 90 days, including ad monetization, product marketing, reporting, and at least one meaningful AI-powered automation.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional experience in mobile gaming, including experience working directly within a mobile game studio.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a mobile marketing discipline such as ad monetization, product marketing, ASO, or user acquisition.
  • Demonstrated experience personally building AI-powered systems, tools, or automations and applying them within real operational workflows.
  • Strong understanding of mobile game growth, live operations, monetization, store optimization, and performance marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with ad monetization platforms such as AppLovin MAX, LevelPlay, or Google AdMob is preferred.
  • Experience optimizing App Store and Google Play presence, including Custom Store Listings and Custom Product Pages, is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of mobile attribution platforms such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Singular.
  • Strong data-handling skills and advanced Excel capabilities; scripting, API integrations, or low-code automation experience are significant advantages.
  • Excellent project management, organization, and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to manage numerous moving parts independently.
  • A proactive and analytical mindset, with a strong tendency to identify problems, investigate root causes, and improve processes rather than simply manage additional workload.
  • Ability to work comfortably across multiple disciplines and take ownership of gaps in coverage.
  • Practical understanding of AI development and automation beyond basic conversational AI tools, with the ability to translate that knowledge into scalable business workflows.
  • Ability to work from the United Kingdom while maintaining sufficient overlap with teams operating across Europe and the Americas, including occasional early-morning or late-afternoon/evening meetings.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation aligned with your location and professional experience.
  • Fully remote working environment with flexibility across Europe and the Americas.
  • High level of autonomy and ownership in an individual contributor role.
  • Opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of established and evolving mobile game titles.
  • Exposure to multiple growth disciplines, including ad monetization, product marketing, ASO, paid acquisition, analytics, and AI automation.
  • Supportive, inclusive, and collaborative environment where curiosity, initiative, and experimentation are encouraged.
  • Opportunity to work on meaningful projects and solve complex growth and operational challenges.
  • Career development opportunities with the space and resources to expand your skills and responsibilities.
  • Flexible collaboration across multiple studios and international teams.
  • Opportunity to make a measurable impact by introducing AI-powered systems that increase efficiency and scale growth operations.
