Since you're classified as an independent contractor, you're responsible for setting your own hours and managing your workload, which requires strong time-management and organizational skills. Additionally, you may face fluctuations in available gigs based on demand, location, and seasonality. Successful drivers often use route-planning tools, maintain reliable communication with dispatchers or clients, and build relationships with repeat customers to create a steady workflow.
