You'll join our Land Development team within the Infrastructure sector getting hands-on field experience from day one. This is a perfect opportunity for students or new grads looking to apply classroom knowledge to real projects in the real world.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Get hands-on with industry-standard survey equipment skills such as stations, GPS units, and leveling equipment, that will set you apart in your career
  • Work in the field across diverse project sites and terrain 
  • Record and document field measurements and observations with precision
  • Collaborate directly with licensed surveyors, engineers, and project managers and build your professional network from day one
  • Learn field safety protocols and best practices used by industry professionals
  • Support survey setup and breakdown, contributing meaningfully to every project you touch

What your experience looks like

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field 
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
  • Comfortable working outdoors and able to lift equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and solid basic math skills
  • Familiarity with survey tools is a bonus - but we're happy to train the right person
  • A team player who communicates well and shows up ready to learn
