Job description

SUMMARY: Experienced full-stack application developer to design, develop, and maintain custom software applications and tools to support business and technology needs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Working with business units to effectively translate their business requirements into technical specifications
  • Writing clean, efficient, well-documented code
  • Refactoring legacy code for modernization and standardization
  • Ensuring that code meets enterprise security standards and best practices
  • Managing code repository and ensuring code is properly checked in/out
  • Participating in enterprise change management and testing process
  • Testing code for compatibility with enterprise infrastructure patching (unit testing)
  • Provide after-hours support/troubleshooting of application development-related issues in the event of outages
  • Other duties as assigned.

#INDVSE
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
    • OR an additional 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.
  • 5 years of relevant/technical work experience.
  • Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Good knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
  • 3 years of experience with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE).
  • 3 years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Analysis Services.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
  • NET MAUI development experience
  • JavaScript and PHP web application development
  • Telerik, jQuery, and other component library experience
  • Mobile application development (Android/iOS)
  • Advanced SQL, including query optimization
  • Experience with Data structures and algorithm optimization
  • API development experience
  • GitHub Enterprise
  • PowerShell
  • Quantum ERP, Pentagon ERP, or other Aviation or general ERP experience
  • Strong analytical skills and effective communication ability with business/end users.

OTHER:
  • The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
  • The position may require occasional travel (<25%) to company sites in the US or internationally to participate in onsite business/technical meetings.
  • Will be expected to work from the office at least two days per week if based in a city with VSE facilities.
