The opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in the Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will be the purchasing agent in support of procuring the highest quality of goods at the best possible rate.
Pay $18.00 - $24.00 / hour

What will you do?
- Procuring goods and services for the operation of the facility
- Developing and maintaining a service culture that ensures the delivery of superior guest service by all team members
- Ensure compliance with the internal controls regarding procurement procedures
- Assist in the purchasing of operational goods and services and capital assets
- Assist in reviewing all purchasing documents for completeness and accuracy
- Vendor relations
- Ensures the department adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures
- Knowledge of all promotions and events
More about you
- At least one year of purchasing experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Microsoft Office Skills should include the utilization of VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables in Excel
- Birchstreet software knowledge/experience is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Physical requirements
- Respond to visual and aural cues
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
- Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
- Able to work flexible shifts
