Summary/Objective
This role is the primary technical resource for the organization's procurement system. Key responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, help desk ticket resolution, supplier enablement, management of approval workflows, price book management, as well as integration support. Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, this position has visibility and regular interactions with organizational leadership, including executive.
Essential Functions
  • Provides day-to-day support for the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) system, acting as the first point of contact for user inquiries and resolving issues through troubleshooting and system analysis.
  • Manages user access, approval workflows, supplier enablement, and system integrations within the P2P platform.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on P2P processes and system functionality, offering guidance and support to users across the organization.
  • Partners with the Sourcing Specialist to implement and maintain P2P tools that drive efficiency and support procurement operations.
  • Builds strong relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to lead initiatives that enhance procurement capabilities.
  • Develops and maintains procurement dashboards and reports to monitor system adoption, identify off-contract (maverick) spend, analyze total cost of ownership (TCO), and ensure supplier compliance.
  • Promotes best practices in P2P usage to ensure a streamlined and user-friendly experience.
  • Supports supplier onboarding and maintenance, including punchout/catalog setup, PO cXML configurations, invoice processing, dispute resolution, and gap analysis.
  • Manages incoming support tickets related to procurement systems, addressing user issues, catalog errors, and configuration changes with appropriate prioritization and escalation when needed.
  • Tracks and analyzes recurring issues to drive process improvements and training initiatives.
  • Collaborates with suppliers to resolve profile errors, connectivity issues, and punchout configuration problems.
  • Monitors system usage and performance, and recommend strategies to improve adoption, efficiency, and overall system value.
  • Reviews and configures system updates/releases, assisting with testing, documentation, and change management.
  • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, Certification and Licensure
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or other related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years maintaining and administering procurement systems.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license in good standing and with an acceptable driving record.
