Job Summary:

As an Echo Tech, you will assist ProMedica physicians with the diagnosis and treatment of illness and injuries by performing diagnostic ultrasounds.

You will inform patients about their procedure and ensure they - and their loved ones - understand and feel comfortable about their procedure. You will play a key role in providing clinical excellence to ProMedica patients.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have attended an approved school of diagnostic ultrasound or have the equivalent experience accepted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
  • Must be registered as a diagnostic sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and must maintain active registry status. If not registered, must become registered within one year
  • CPR
