- Maintain accurate records of truck arrivals, departures, flock information, and visitor logs.
- Communicate with live production, transportation, and plant personnel regarding incoming and outgoing loads.
- Conduct routine inspections to verify that vehicles meet site entry requirements.
- Direct drivers and visitors to appropriate locations within the facility.
- Monitor radio, telephone, and computer communications to coordinate traffic flow and operational needs.
- Report security concerns, safety hazards, equipment issues, or unusual activities to management.
- Assist with scheduling and tracking live-haul deliveries to support production requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional guard house environment.
- Enforce company policies related to safety, biosecurity, animal welfare, and facility security.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service to drivers, employees, and visitors.
- Weigh Master trained and certified on site to weigh all incoming live haul trailers.
- Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.
