Job description

About the role:

Gartner Analysts are industry thought leaders who deliver musthave insights, foresight, and best practices to a broad range of the world's leading organizations. This Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping forwardlooking, technologydriven insights that Gartner clients rely on to modernize their compliance programs and advance strategic objectives.

This Analyst will help define and advance Gartner's point of view on compliance transformation through technology, leading internal insight discussions with fellow Analysts and collaborating closely across Gartner's Assurance Practice. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will engage senior Compliance leaders on complex challenges at the intersection of compliance strategy, operating models, and compliance risk technology, offering pragmatic, innovative recommendations.

You will reinforce Gartner's value daily through highimpact client engagement-including 1:1 virtual meetings, sales support engagements, and Gartner conferences-helping clients adopt and scale nextgeneration compliance capabilities.
This Analyst will produce compelling thought leadership and advise Clevel Compliance executives on how emerging technologies, data, and analytics are reshaping compliance risk management.

Who You Are:

We are seeking an entrepreneurial, selfmotivated, and ideasdriven individual energized by technology innovation and continuous evolution within Compliance. You are intellectually curious, with a strong appetite for learning across regulatory, technological, and operational topics. You excel at synthesizing large, complex data sets into clear, actionable insights and communicating them with precision and impact.

You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and can rapidly pivot as technologies, regulations, and client needs evolve. You enjoy helping clients achieve missioncritical priorities, particularly those involving technology modernization, automation, and dataenabled decisionmaking. You collaborate effectively, quickly building credibility and trust with clients and colleagues alike. You bring a confident executive presence, are a compelling presenter, and apply strong analytical thinking to translate innovation into practical recommendations.

Please note, this is an individual contributor role, not a leadership position with direct reports.

What you will do:

* Create highquality, clear, actionable "musthave insights" and research focused on Compliance Program Management enabled by technology, with emphasis on compliance risk technology, thirdparty risk management (TPRM) platforms, and compliance monitoring and analytics.
* Research, analyze, and anticipate technologydriven trends, market shifts, and emerging capabilities within compliance risk management, translating them into actionable guidance for clients.
* Conduct analytically rigorous, factbased research on compliance risk technologies, including automation, data analytics, and platform convergence, producing innovative and thoughtleading content.
* Apply critical thinking to deconstruct complex, technologycentric client questions and frame them within scalable, futureready compliance models.
* Advise clients and prospects through virtual and facetoface interactions, helping them make informed decisions about technology adoption, optimization, and transformation.
* Create and deliver engaging presentations for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings that highlight innovation, technology strategy, and best practices.
* Actively participate in Gartner's innovation, ideation, and research initiatives; collaborate across the Assurance community to advance Gartner's technologyfocused compliance insights.

What you will need:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* 10+ years of relevant experience-and demonstrated enthusiasm-for compliance risk technologies, including TPRM platforms, regulatory intelligence solutions, GRC technologies, compliance monitoring, and analytics.
Relevant vendors include ProcessUnity, Riskonnect, MetricStream, Archer, LogicGate, GAN Integrity, NAVEX, Diligent, OneTrust, and closely associated ecosystems.
* Deep understanding of the Chief Compliance Officer role and how technology is transforming compliance operating models.
* Exceptional written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior executives on complex, technologydriven topics.
* Strong analytical capability, including the ability to apply conceptual models, identify patterns, and defend insights with data and evidence.
* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver highquality work under tight deadlines.
* Strong executive presence and credibility with Clevel leaders and senior stakeholders.
