TMZ is looking foraEditor to work in our fast-paced, TV news production environment. This role is responsible for editingcontentformultipletelevision showsas well as other creative projects.The Editor prepares and edits video procured from multiple sources for broadcast and website publication. It is vital for this person to be an engaging storyteller, who can produce(preditor)and piece together interesting stories within extremely tight daily deadlines. Must be highly proficient with Adobe Premiere, a Mac and PC user,and should be comfortable with basic aspects of computing, including Slack, MS Office Suite and navigating the internet.This position reports intotheSupervisingProducer andis located inLos Angeles, CA.


Responsibilities:
Produce and edit video content daily with Adobe Premiere (with editorial sense/judgment/direction)
Cut and export video images in Photoshop
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Experienceworking on atelevision show (news, broadcast, cable, daytime talk, reality, etc.) is preferred
A strong interest in entertainment celebrity news, preferred
3-5 years of video editing experience required
Adobe Premiere and Photoshop - advanced skill-level required
Must be a team player who can work simultaneously with different departments on multiple projects
