Job Title: Seasonal Pool Snack Bar Cook Department: F&B Kitchen

Reports to: Sous Chef Effective Date: April 2026

Job Summary: North Ridge Country Club is a private club providing its members with prestigious service through a variety of dining outlets on our campus. Our Pool Snack Bar is open seven days a week and services are members from Memorial Day through Labor Day. As a Pool Snack Bar Cook you will be responsible for preparing meals, as well as ensuring food quality and proper storage while always maintaining a clean workstation. This role must be familiar with a commercial kitchen and food preparation. The ideal candidate is customer service oriented, has a positive attitude and works effectively with the team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and sanitizing workstations.
  • Following prep lists created by chefs.
  • Grilling, cooking, and frying foods.
  • Grilling and garnishing hamburgers and other meats.
  • Performing simple food preparation tasks, such as slicing up meats, fruits, and vegetables.
  • Completing orders, plating the food, and processing in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessible.
  • Rotating food and stamping the time and date on the food in the coolers.
  • Cleaning food preparation equipment and areas.


Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities: 


    Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

    The ability to multi-task and work quickly and efficiently.

    Strong communication, teamworking, and customer service skills.

    Manual dexterity and a good sense of taste.

    Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, nights, and holidays.

    Ability to work in a stressful, fast-paced environment.


Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

On-the-job training in food preparation and sanitation techniques.

Previous experience

Physical Requirements: 

Standing for long periods of time 

Walking around the club campus 

Must be able to lift 35lbs
