Job Overview
This position will pick, package and/or ship products as per work instructions.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
  • Pick Orders.
  • Confirm orders.
  • Package orders as required for product protection and cost effectiveness.
  • For larger orders determine the best shipping method.
  • Ship as per directed on orders (such as FED EX, UPS).
  • Place FedEx, UPS, and Express packages on skids in their correct locations.
  • Wrap skids and load trucks as needed.
  • Report all safety issues to the warehouse manager.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and productive environment.
  • All other duties as deemed appropriate to the position.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions and procedures.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in the use of personal computer programs including WMS, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy are a must.
  • Capable of working alone or as a team.
  • Use of Computer, Mobile Scanners, Pallet Jack, Poly Air Machine, Fill Pack Paper Machine, Vertical Storage Unit, Electric Pallet Jack, Automatic Strapping and Banding Machine.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Availability for overtime and weekend work when needed.

Quality Requirements:
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
  • Ensure compliance to all FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations (As applicable to the job function).
  • Must have the education and experience to understand and comply with U.S. and Worldwide medical device regulations (As applicable to your job function).
  • Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval.
  • Adopt the "Beyond Compliance Quality Culture" in the work environment; always meet and exceed requirements.

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently, and over 50 lbs. with assisted lift. (not having any weight restrictions)
  • Safe handling of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals for distribution.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and bend.
  • Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry and walk throughout the warehouse.
  • Ability to safely, and properly, operate power industrial equipment.
