JOB Description
GENERAL PURPOSE
The Packaging Associate is responsible for repackaging items from bulk form packaging into customer specific packaging.
Responsibilities
Essential functions of the job are listed below. Other responsibilities may also be assigned. Please note that the essential functions may vary depending on department size, organizational structure and/or geographic location. Essential Job Functions
  • Repackages items from bulk to customer specific packaging, including poly bag, specific labels, inner outer boxes etc.
  • Operates any necessary machines for repackaging - Spring-Poly Bag Machine
  • Makes necessary, minor, adjustments to repackaging machines

Other Responsibilities
  • Operates Hi-Lo to move product, as necessary
  • Preforms quality checks of packaged products
  • Verifies raw materials match work instructions
  • Assists team with all other aspects of receiving, pulling & labeling, as needed
  • Performs other duties as requested by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge/ Experience
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Familiarity with MRP/ ERP systems. i.e. SAP, AX 2009
  • SPC and ISO/TS understanding

  • Hi-Lo Drivers Certificate
  • Demonstrated commitment to meet all safety requirements
