  • Active ARRT (R) certification — Registered Radiologic Technologist preferred
  • ARRT (CI) or CCI RCIS preferred (Cardiovascular-Interventional certification desirable)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Connecticut state license required (must apply prior to submittal; allow 15–21 business days for processing)
  • Experience with Fluoroscopy and Philips imaging equipment required
  • Ability to scrub and maintain a sterile field for interventional procedures
  • One professional reference required with resume submission
  • COVID-19 vaccine not required; seasonal Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
  • Local candidates within 75 miles not accepted — travel-only position
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, including angioplasty, stent placement, and cardiac catheterizations
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot specialized imaging equipment (Fluoroscopy, Philips systems)
  • Scrub in, assist physicians during procedures, and maintain sterile technique throughout cases
  • Accurately monitor and document patient vitals, procedural data, and EPIC charting
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including cardiology, rapid response, nursing, and pharmacy
  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and inventory to ensure readiness for all cardiac and interventional cases
  • Participate in the on-call rotation, including scheduled 24-hour weekend coverage
  • Provide compassionate care for adult and geriatric patient populations in a high-acuity setting
