Responsibilities:
- Leads a state-wide effort to better understand how per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances impact soil health and agricultural systems.
- Leads field experiments, collects data on soil, water, plants, and climate, analyzes the data, interprets the results, and presents findings at local, regional, and national meetings.
- Prepares manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- These duties require physical activities, including extensive fieldwork, travel, heavy lifting, and working in extreme environments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in soil science, microbiology, environmental toxicology, or related fields, with a focus on soil health.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
