  • Manage the MRP demand system by reviewing requirements, placing purchase orders, and expediting materials to meet customer demand.
  • Implement and manage stocking programs that align with overall demand plans and aftermarket strategies.
  • Provide market insights and analysis on pricing trends, including Consumer Price Index (CPI) and other cost drivers, to support decision-making.
  • Lead the qualification process for new suppliers, including evaluation, onboarding, and ongoing performance review.
  • Participate in supplier negotiations focused on total cost of ownership, legal requirements, and contract terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate with international counterparts to identify and develop low-cost country sourcing strategies.
  • Assist with preparing and supporting quotations and negotiations related to international and low-cost country sourcing.
  • Drive and support the implementation of process improvements and changes within purchasing and supply chain activities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure purchasing activities support aftermarket growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Essential Skills

  • Purchasing or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes, including sourcing, quoting, and negotiating.
  • Experience working with aftermarket support or aftermarket-focused operations.
  • Proficiency in managing MRP demand systems to plan, place, and expedite orders.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive and implement change within purchasing or supply chain functions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Ability to analyze pricing trends and market conditions to support sourcing decisions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement in cost, lead time, and process efficiency.
  • Interest in growing within the organization and helping to implement new processes and changes.
