Position Summary

The Quality Supervisoris responsible foroverseeing daily quality operations, ensuring compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. This role will lead a team of qualitycritical focus, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support production in achieving qualityobjectives.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Activities

  • Conductstart-of-shift quality checksand review production schedules.

  • Performline auditsto ensure compliance with work instructions and quality standards.

  • Monitorin-process inspectionsand verify critical dimensions/specifications.

  • Addressquality alertsand resolve issues promptly with production teams.

  • Ensureproper documentationof inspection results and nonconformances.

  • Verifycalibrationstatusof measurement tools and equipment.

  • Communicatequality updatesduring daily production meetings.

Weekly Activities

  • Reviewscrap and rework reports;identifytrends and root causes.

  • Conductlayered process audits (LPA)or internal audits.

  • Update andmaintainquality control plansand inspection sheets.

  • Providetraining and refreshersfor operators on quality standards.

  • Trackcorrective and preventive actions (CAPA)progress.

  • Prepareweekly quality performance reportsfor management.

Monthly Activities

  • Analyzecustomer complaints and returns; implement corrective actions.

  • ReviewRight the First Time(RTFT)and other KPIs for continuous improvement.

  • Participate incross-functional meetingsfor process improvement projects.

  • Validatenew product launchesor process changes for compliance.

  • Conductsafety and quality awareness sessionsfor the team.

Continuous Responsibilities

  • EnsureISO complianceon the shop floor.

  • Driveroot cause analysisfor recurring issues using tools like 8D or Fishbone.

  • Supportengineering and maintenancein resolving quality-related equipment issues.

  • Promote aculture of quality and accountabilityamong operators.

  • Maintainvisual management boardsfor quality metrics on the floor.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years in a manufacturing quality role; supervisory experience preferred.

  • Skills: Strong knowledge of quality systemsand manufacturing cables.(ISO 9001)

  • Proficient in problem-solving tools (8D, Root Cause Analysis)

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Technical: Familiarity with measurement tools, inspection techniques, and statistical analysis.
