Position: Cloud Computing Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $1,750–$2,150 per completed task
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

  • Build a realistic digital workspace using architecture docs, runbooks, RFCs, and other tools like HashiCorp Terraform, Datadog, Splunk, and GitHub Actions.
  • Design multi-step tasks that challenge frontier AI agents by navigating multiple apps and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cloud-computing experts to design environments and review scenarios for realism.
  • Work asynchronously with research teams to refine task designs and evaluation criteria for cloud-computing agent benchmarks.
  • Contribute to frontier AI research and benchmarking by informing how leading labs train and evaluate AI systems.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 3+ years of experience at a major hyperscaler or Fortune 500 platform/infrastructure team.
  • Background in cloud architecture, site reliability engineering, DevOps, or cloud FinOps.
  • Day-to-day use of HashiCorp Terraform, Splunk, Datadog, GitHub Actions, and Okta.
  • Strong analytical thinking and writing skills.

Preferred

  • Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, CKA, or CKAD.
