Receptionist: Part - Time
Awaken Las Vegas is looking for a part-time Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist role is a vital part of the daily operations of the Administrative Department and is the face and voice of Awaken Las Vegas. You will welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the phone, as well as answering or referring inquiries. We are looking for a person with creativity who can work in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and is detail oriented.

As the Receptionist in the front lobby, you will have the opportunity to:
*Meet, greet, and assist the many visitors who come to the Front Lobby
*Follow and maintain security and procedures.
*Be an encourager and friendly presence.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Represents Awaken Las Vegas in a professional manner by greeting every guest with a smile and exceptional customer service both in person and on the phone.
- Overall coverage of the front lobby while maintaining a clean and organized area.
- Answers the front desk phone lines and routes the caller to the appropriate or requested person.
- Responsibility for taking the caller’s information and sending a phone message or email if the requested person is unavailable.
- Greets, checks in, and provides directions to visitors as needed.
- Responsible for staying current on all events and announcements in order to answer all questions asked either on the phone or in-person.
- Handles all incoming packages (via UPS, FedEx) and routing them to the correct department/employee.
- Responsible for ticket sales, cash handling, and credit card transactions during the week for various ministry departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
- 1 Year Customer Service or Receptionist experience preferred.
- Exceptional customer service competencies with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality appropriate for the church environment.
- Ability to make decisions independently in accordance with established policies.
- Strong organizational and communications skills.
- Sound knowledge of office and business procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, and Word.
Education
- A High School diploma is required.
