Job description

Position Title: Sales Lead
Location: MercyOne Health & Fitness Center
Type: Full Time

Join our team of full time and part time staff at MercyOne Health & Fitness Center. Our facility is managed by Power Wellness Management, a company that specializes in managing state-of-the-art medically integrated health and fitness centers. Power Wellness is a medical fitness industry pioneer who improves the lives of clients with a unique and customized approach to medical fitness center development and management. Their turnkey method takes away the stress of the development and management process allowing clients to focus on other areas of their business.
The Sales Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the sales department, acquiring and enrolling new memberships, and representing and promoting the center in the community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Support the Sales Associates in their daily activities and sales efforts.
2. Proficiently sell memberships and all ancillary services included but not limited to personal training, massage therapy, medically-integrated programs, and nutrition services to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
3. Secure and manage the following membership accounts: corporate, medically referred, community referred and all other memberships.
4. Maintain accurate lead and prospect tracking records, providing consistent and timely follow up.
5. Be able to conduct a center tour to all prospects, using tour guide policy.
6. Support the new member fitness assessment process, including introduction of the new member to the fitness team, scheduling assessments, etc.
7. Represent the center by attending off-site events such as health fairs, corporate events and speaking engagements with the intent of sharing center information and procuring memberships.
8. Solicit and enroll new community partners.
9. Assist with department work schedules and time cards.
10. Assist with hiring and training all Sales Associates.
11. Work Manager on Duty shifts as assigned.
12. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, marketing and/or customer service preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire (provided by Power Wellness)
• Must possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills, and the ability to work with members in a positive, service based manner.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain a controlled and professional demeanor.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent sales, marketing, writing, presentation and tracking skills required.
