The Design Engineer Mechanical develops detailed technical drawings and design documentation for fabrication, installation, and construction. This role translates concepts, sketches, and customer requirements into precise, production-ready plans while supporting project documentation and contributing to product development across diverse industries. It requires strong engineering fundamentals, proficiency in Revit and CAD, and close collaboration with engineers, project managers, and field teams.

Work Model:

  • On-Site

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct site observations and report risks and deficiencies
  • Collaborate with engineers and PMs to resolve design issues
  • Develop estimates BOMs RFQs and purchase specifications
  • Apply codes standards and site requirements to designs
  • Analyze failures and field data to improve performance and safety
  • Coordinate stakeholders and manage RFIs submittals and project communication

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelors degree in industrial manufacturing mechanical or electrical engineering preferred
  • 5 plus years of relevant experience
  • Engineering certifications such as PE EIT or FE preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD with Inventor and Navisworks a plus
