Job Title: Psychiatry Intern - Pediatric Medication Management Rotation

Location: 13045 Falcon Drive, Suite 100, Baxter, MN 56425

Working Model: Remote Only

Employee Type: 0.25 - 1.0 FTE - Full Time or Part Time

Rotation Term: Fall 2026

As a Psychiatry Intern at Sagent Behavioral Health, formerly known as (Ellie Mental Health/ Nystrom & Associates), you will shadow a medication management provider, engage in charting during sessions, person-centered treatment plans, clinical progress notes, and participate in relevant team meetings and trainings. You also have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Shadow individual, couples, family, etc medication management appointments in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Engage in charting and documentation activites during sessions
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
  • Attend daily supervision with preceptor

Requirements:

  • Must be pursuing a master's or doctorate degree in psychiatric nursing or a Physician's Assistant program.
  • Candidates are completing a formal rotation through their graduate program.
  • Experience and ability to demonstrate professionalism and integrity.
  • Previous work or volunteer experience related to behavioral health is preferred (common examples are Independent Living Skills, Inpatient Mental Health, Behavioral Program or Residential Experience).

Compensation: Unpaid rotation
