Looking for a team-oriented, dedicated candidate to join our Facilities Technician team at our Tahoe Edgelake Beach Club resort in Tahoe Vista, CA!


Work Type: Part-Time. Seasonal from July to October.

Work hours: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.


Position Summary:

Responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identifies and reports preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Posts caution signs. Contacts other departments directly for urgent repairs. Delivers guest requests and sets up furniture items in guest rooms as requested. Removes items from hallways and transports to service areas, including debris, room service food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash placed near Housekeeper carts. Cleans, maintains, and stores cleaning equipment. Maintains cleanliness of assigned area. Assists housekeeper with cleaning on an as needed basis. Removed soiled linen and trash from rooms/villas.


Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Follows all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other associates. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.


Key Duties/Accountabilities
Responds promptly to requests from guests, Front Desk, or At Your Service requests.
Identifies and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
Contacts Engineering, or Housekeeping office directly for urgent repairs.
Selects appropriate cleaning chemicals and necessary personal protective equipment for various surfaces
and cleaning jobs, following OSHA regulations and corporate standards.
Posts caution signs (e.g., wet floor signs) to limit traffic when necessary.

Mowing, landscaping, and completing other groundsman duties for the properties as needed.
