Job description

LIBRARY CLERK - Part-time 20 hours/week public service position at the Rooker Library (11 Otter Creek Court Little Rock, AR 72210). Seeking energetic, customer service-oriented applicants with exceptional sorting ability, great attention to detail, and communication skills. Essential duties include shelving items, shelf reading, emptying book bins, working the circulation desk, and resolving patron issues. Additionally, the Library Clerk will be responsible for assisting with managing the food pantry inventory. Must be able to stand for long periods, push and pull at least 50 lbs., lift, and squat. Must be able to work every Friday and Saturday from 2pm-6pm, and some Thursdays 4pm-8pm. Spanish language skills preferred and may be eligible for a pay differential. The pay is $15.00 per hour.
