Bardel Entertainment Inc. is launching an exciting new preschool animated series on YouTube this October. We have partnered with a prominent kids' content influencer who is providing the music for our show and driving initial traffic from their established Instagram and TikTok channels. We are building our digital presence from scratch and looking for a creative, data-driven marketer to steer our launch and long-term channel growth.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a part-time Social Media & YouTube Manager to lead the pre-launch and early growth phase of a new preschool-focused content brand. This role owns the setup, optimization, and early audience growth of our YouTube and social channels, turning long-form episodes into platform-native short-form content and driving traffic through an influencer partnership. The goal is to build early traction with parents and educators across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram leading into an October launch.

What you’ll be doing:

Channel Ownership & Setup

  • Set up and optimize a brand-new YouTube channel for launch readiness
  • Ensure strict compliance with YouTube Kids (“Made for Kids”) guidelines
  • Manage content calendar planning and publishing structure during the pre-launch phase

Content Production & Repurposing

  • Edit and repurpose full-length preschool episodes into short-form vertical content (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels)
  • Adapt content appropriately for platform-specific formats and audience behavior

Growth & Influencer Coordination

  • Align influencer partner content (stories and posts) with YouTube publishing schedule to maximize cross-platform traffic
  • Design and execute social campaigns, countdowns, and parent-focused engagement strategies leading into and during launch

Optimization & Packaging

  • Write SEO-optimized titles, descriptions, and video tags to improve discoverability
  • Oversee or collaborate on thumbnail direction to improve click-through rate and retention

Analytics & Iteration

  • Monitor channel performance, viewer retention, and traffic sources across platforms
  • Adjust content and distribution strategy based on performance data post-launch

Requirements

What you’ll bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in social media or YouTube content roles
  • Hands-on experience managing or growing a YouTube channel (launch or growth phase)
  • Experience creating or repurposing short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts
  • Ability to read and act on platform analytics (CTR, retention, watch time, traffic sources)
  • Basic video editing skills

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience in children’s content, preschool media, or parenting-focused audiences
  • Familiarity with YouTube growth tools such as TubeBuddy or VidIQ
  • Experience managing influencer or partnership-driven campaigns
