Job description

Driver/Industrial Services Technician - CDL A
Middletown, Ohio (Lefferson Road)

** $4,000 Sign-On Bonus **

Requirements:

  • Must have a CDL Class A
  • Industrial experience preferred
  • Ability to operate high-pressured water-blaster and vacuum equipment
  • Able to communicate with team members as well as on-site customer representatives effectively and professionally
  • Able to troubleshoot equipment, and as the need arises perform minor repairs
  • Must be willing to travel overnight for assignments as required
  • 40 Hr. HAZWOPER Training preferred but is not required

Job Duties:

  • Drive and operate liquid vac trucks and air movers
  • Use manual tools (shovels, rakes, scrapers, squeegees, brooms) to clean industrial, institutional and government facilities
  • As trained and certified, operate water blasting, ice blasting, media blasting and chemical cleaning systems
  • Perform yard, shop, equipment maintenance and housekeeping assignments
  • Complete site-specific documentation and duties as assigned by crew leader or supervisor
  • Ensure equipment and company property is maintained in proper condition
  • Travel as necessary to assigned job sites which will include multiple overnight assignments

Essential Physical Functions of the Job:

  • Ensure that health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
  • Distinguish emergency signals and instructions while on duty
  • Must be able to repetitively sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl
  • Must be able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 40 pounds
  • Must be able to work in extreme conditions such as heat, cold, dusty, and wet conditions for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces and tight quarters
  • Must be able to wear protective clothing such as respirators, safety glasses, steel toe shoes, coveralls, and hearing protection
  • Operates light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, sky tracks, etc.
  • Must be able to climb ladders, work from stationary platforms from elevated heights and confined spaces
  • Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts
