Job description

We are seeking a positive, personable, and professional individual with a passion for people and beauty products to join our team as a Manager in Training. This position is designed to develop future store leadership through hands-on experience, mentorship, and operational training across our New Braunfels, San Marcos, and San Antonio locations, with New Braunfels serving as the home store.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership potential, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and support a team in a fast-paced retail environment. This role focuses on leadership development, operational excellence, and sales growth while preparing the candidate for future advancement into a Store Manager position.

During the training period, the Manager in Training will work closely with Store Managers and leadership teams to learn all aspects of the business, including daily store operations, employee coaching and development, disciplinary support, merchandising, promotional execution, inventory management, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, showroom maintenance, and customer relationship management. This role will also assist in driving sales performance and achieving store goals and KPIs while delivering exceptional service to licensed cosmetologists and salon professionals.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, adaptable, highly organized, and capable of multitasking while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Regular travel between all three store locations will be required based on business needs; however, overnight travel is not typically required. Initially, this position will focus on shadowing and supporting existing management teams while gaining the knowledge and experience necessary to independently lead locations in the future.

Beauty industry experience or a cosmetology license is a plus, but not required. Candidates must be able to regularly lift up to 20 pounds, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods of time, unload trucks, and assist in preparing delivery routes as needed.
