This role is responsible for a variety of human resources functions that contribute to a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace. The HR Generalist serves as a resource for employees and managers, supports key employment processes throughout the employee lifecycle, and helps promote employee engagement and organizational success.

Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in fostering a positive, compliant, and engaged workplace environment. Under the guidance and supervision of HR leadership, this position performs a wide range of human resources functions that support employees and organizational operations throughout the employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities include benefits administration, leave administration, records management, onboarding and offboarding processes, tracking employee training and development, responding to employee inquiries, coordinating the KCR Wellness Program, and assisting the Marketing team with employee and organizational events. The HR Generalist also supports talent acquisition activities by maintaining job postings, attending job fairs, assisting hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, and facilitating new hire orientation sessions.
In addition, the HR Generalist is responsible for maintaining accurate HR records, ensuring compliance with applicable policies and employment laws, and supporting employee engagement initiatives. This role requires attendance at relevant HR trainings and conferences to maintain current knowledge of Washington State and federal employment laws and HR best practices.
