Fluidra’s looking for a Director of Consumer Channels to join our team!

 

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

The Director of Consumer Channels for the Consumer Business Unit (DCC-CBU) is responsible for both expanding distribution and maintaining strong account relationships with the goal of accelerating growth for the Consumer BU. The DCC-CBU will profitably manage the sales activities for the DIY portfolio with accountability for forecasting and achieving yearly sales and margin targets. The individual can work in a fast-paced environment and simultaneously handle multiple priorities. This position will be the key company interface with leadership at all accounts. Additionally, you will:  

  • Identify and prioritize channels and high-potential customers to expand the DIY portfolio.
  • Manage forecast of key accounts, providing input to S&OP teams on volume outlook, risks, SKU allocation, and production planning.
  • Oversee “account health” by tracking orders, fulfillment, backlog, and bad standing ensuring timely communication.
  • Negotiate pricing and manage the DIY product line-up to achieve margin and volume goals.
  • Lead execution of customer marketing plans, driving visibility through on-brand content in partnership with Marketing.
  • Coordinate intercompany efforts to resolve special orders, pricing discrepancies, and process issues.
  • Drive new product launches, ensuring seamless execution across sales, marketing, and customer channels.
  • Act as the internal voice of the customer, sharing insights on sell-through, initiatives, and customer-facing organizational updates.
  • Manage the promotional calendar for key accounts, overseeing execution, budgets, ROI measurement, and GL reconciliation.
  • Provide input on P&L drivers with focus on topline revenue, discounting, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Build and develop a high-performing sales team through coaching and succession planning.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and key customer events.
  • Develop and administer Vendor Approved Contracts (VACs).

 

WHAT WE SEEK

  • 10+ years of relevant professional sales experience with proven results in growing Consumer channels - retail and ecommerce
  • 5+ years sales leadership experience
  • Experience within the eCommerce channel, including familiarity with marketplaces (e.g., Amazon), product content (A+ / enhanced content), ratings & reviews, and digital merchandising
  • Proven ability to apply a consumer-first mindset and leverage the power of strong brands to drive sales
  • Experience across Home Center, Retail, and Mass channels, including merchandising, assortment strategy, promotional execution, and account management
  • Effective presentation and negotiating skills, including a confident and positive speaking style and ability to present (using PowerPoint and other techniques) to management and customers
  • Demonstrated understanding of key internal processes, including margin analysis, supply chain operations, finance, and credit procedures
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to inspire, drive engagement, and results both internally, with customers, and with senior executives
  • Travel by air is required; approximately 40% of national travel requiring overnight stays

EDUCATION 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or Sales Management.
