Charity Customer Service Event Representative

We’re looking for a compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team and provide exceptional support to our donors, event coordinators and community partners.

Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in maintaining positive and lasting relationships with our contributors. You will be responsible for educating our contributors on the ways their donations are making a meaningful impact, assisting with donation processing, and ensuring our donors feel valued and appreciated. Your role is essential in helping us continue our mission of service and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service by assisting with inquiries and offering support in person.

  • Assist donors with donation processing, including providing receipts

  • Address donor concerns or issues with empathy and professionalism, ensuring an excellent experience.

  • Maintain accurate donor records and ensure timely acknowledgment of donations.

  • Collaborate with the fundraising team to keep donors engaged and informed about our programs and initiatives.

  • Support the creation of personalized thank-you messages and other donor communications.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, particularly in the nonprofit or charity sector, is preferred.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse audiences.

  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic, with a genuine passion for our cause.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism while handling sensitive information..

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
