This position will oversee the scheduling, hiring, coaching and discipline of drivers while ensuring that relationships with customers are built and maintained and merchandising standards are adhered.What your day will look like:Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the UNITED policies and applicable lawsInterview, hire, and train associatesPlan, assign, and direct workAppraise & evaluate performanceAddress complaints and resolve problemsDevelop/maintain relationships with customersBuilds positive associate moraleTracks, measures, and analyzes execution of Picture of Success (PicOs) across each area of responsibility using the internal execution trackers availableSupervises delivery merchandisers and other associatesWorks weekend supervisor duty on a rotating scheduleEnsures orders are accurate and that product returned to Company facility is properly processedCompletes accident reports and conducts accident investigationsProvides merchandising skills and safety trainingRides with associates new to the job and performs merchandising functions alongside new associates to train on Company merchandising expectationsEvaluates associates progress during the new hire training process.
