A Taste of What You'll Do

Join a collaborative team at Gallo Winery based in Canandaigua New York  where you'll support cellar production on  second shift 3pm - 11:00pm and help keep our facilities running safely and smoothly. Under general supervision, you'll operate up to four machine centers, perform routine production reporting and quality checks, and enter basic inventory data. You'll be expected to operate equipment efficiently to meet production goals, keep work areas clean and Food Safety compliant, and contribute to continuous improvement by sharing ideas for safer, smarter ways to work.

You'll develop practical skills in machine operation, basic troubleshooting, and training others on standard procedures while supporting sustainability efforts-conserving resources, improving energy efficiency, and recycling to help our operations meet environmental goals. Strong situational awareness, a sense of urgency for Safety, Quality, and Productivity, and good communication with teammates and leadership are key. Regular attendance, timeliness, and adherence to quality, environmental, and safety regulations are required.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate; or 1 year of experience in beverage production, manufacturing or operations.
  • Forklift certification and operation as needed.
  • Required to wear a respirator when necessary.
  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Required to work at heights and in small areas.
  • Required to comply with company GMP policies.
  • Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

How You'll Stand Out
