Understanding these differences helps in choosing the right career path or job role.

Are network network engineers still in demand?

Network engineers are still in demand due to ongoing needs for maintaining and securing organizational IT infrastructure, especially with the growth of cloud computing and remote work. They typically require skills in network protocols, hardware, and certifications like Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ to stay competitive in the job market.

What does a network network engineer actually do?

A network engineer designs, implements, manages, and maintains computer networks such as local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and intranets. They troubleshoot network issues, configure hardware and software, and ensure network security using tools like routers, switches, and firewalls, often holding certifications like Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+.
