About This Role

Job Description

The Preschool Director manages daily operations, ensures safety and state licensing compliance, leads staff, and fosters a Christian, nurturing environment. Key duties include curriculum development, student enrollment, budget management, and communication with parents and church leadership. This role requires a blend of administrative, educational, and spiritual leadership skills. They are responsible for maintaining the center's mission and vision, fostering a positive faith-based culture, and promoting staff professional growth. This is a salaried position: $50,000-$54,000 per year.


Typical Working Conditions

  • Full-time, with potential for some weekend or evening commitments for events.

What You'll Do
  • Administration & Operations: Oversees day-to-day operations, maintains compliance with safety/licensing standards, manages budgets, handles enrollment, and keeps accurate records.
  • Leadership & Staff Management: Hires, trains, and supervises staff, conducts performance reviews, and organizes professional development workshops.

Requirements
  • Education: Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Experience: Two (2) years experience in a licensed childcare setting, including classroom experience and staff management.
  • Faith Alignment: A demonstrated, active Christian faith, a strong commitment to the school and church's mission and a passion for teaching children in a Christian environment.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
