Job description

Hiring Company: Boar's Head Provisions Co., Inc.Overview:The Multivac Operator is responsible for all Production related duties for setting up the roll stock tools and monitoring performance to maximize production efficiency and throughput.Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Installing/changing rolls of film (forming and non-forming)
  • Monitoring and correcting film tracking
  • Performing tooling changeovers
  • Responding to leakers, working with Maintenance to identify root cause and appropriate corrective action
  • Performs daily film inventory
  • Performing film changeovers
  • Monitoring meat block accuracy
  • Monitors conveyor speeds to match tool speed
  • Works with department Leads and Supervisor to coordinate changeovers and staffing rotation to minimize impacts
  • Communicate well with other team members.
  • Assist other departments as assigned by Supervisor/Lead/Manager.
  • Must follow company's GMP's, SOP's, Plant Rules and Policies.
  • Strives to satisfy the requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for keeping work area clean.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Must have no write up in the previous 12 months
  • Must be in current position at least 6 months
  • Must have less than 7 points
