We are seeking a Rider Coach to join our team!
- Maintain a high challenge, low risk learning environment at all times.
- Have all required paperwork completed and turn into RAM in an organized manner:
- Waivers and other required forms
- Written tests
- Completion card numbers
- Provide objective feedback to students allowing them to build confidence and develop safe riding habits.
- Report incidents on appropriate MSF/EMAG form:
- Must be completed and turned into RAM the day of the incident.
- Report maintenance issues to RAM and service advisor so that it can be resolved in a timely manner.
- Work with departments and liaisons in dealership to facilitate customer relationships.
- Teach participants about motorcycle controls, riding gear and basic riding skills.
- They must hold an active MSF RiderCoach certification.
- They must abide by the Rules of Professional Conduct for MSF, H-D, and the state of Florida:
- Demonstrate safe riding habits and always wear protective gear when riding to, from and during rider training activities. Ideally, all protective gear is worn at all times.
- Be familiar and apply the Safety, Adult Learning, and Motor Skills principles found in the MSF RiderCoach guide.
- Currently operate a motorcycle on a frequent and routine basis on public roadways.
- Keep a good driving record:
- No criminal offenses
- No more than one non-criminal moving violation in any twelve month period, regardless of adjudication; and
- No cancellations, revocations, or suspensions of the driving privilege.
- They will have to get H-D Riding Academy certified if they do not possess it.
- First Aid/CPR certification required
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to pick up a dropped motorcycle.
- Must be able to balance and push a motorcycle in and out of storage units or off range.
